Read this before you make a decision
The hotel oozes charm with its vibrant decor and friendly, accommodating staff who enhance the experience. Its central location makes it easy to explore, and the quiet courtyard provides a peaceful retreat.
Some rooms lack exterior windows, which can. I encountered some minor service inconsistencies at the front desk that could use improvement.

Lobby was lovely, and upstairs patio. Rooms were very attractive too. The location is wonderful. Nice and clean too.
Our rooms had no windows, which really bothers me. It's important for me that I wake up with natural light in the room. Also, guests in the upstairs room said they heard extremely loud music till 2 am every night. OUr room was downstairs and in the back, so we didn't hear it. The afternoon staff was not friendly with my husband when he checked in, although staff after that were friendly and helpful. But overall, I didn't find the staff to be the kind that make you feel really welcome. I wish there was some complementary breakfast as part of the room rate.

amazing parks and landmarks just steps away
We loved staying in a cozy spot with easy access to beautiful parks and vibrant markets. And the delicious breakfast at the restaurant was a fantastic way to start our days exploring all that Oaxaca has to offer, from the excellent nearby cathedral to the lively Mercado Benito Juarez just a few minutes away.

The Staff were extremely helpful with anything we needed. Not being able to speak fluent Spanish, they took care of everything. Also the location is unbeatable, right in the middle of everything.

Our hotel was in an amazing location in a great location-walking distance to everything. It was also so close to the attractions, restaurants, boutiques or galleries, several Markets and transport to-and-from the airport. Loved our rooms with a king bed:)))

location and restaurant, although it was a la carte and not included in the price, food and service were good
The photos they show of the rooms don't match the one they gave us. It was very small and windowless, very dark and smelled musty. We asked to be moved to another one and in the second one the size did not change but at least it had a small window. If you want to rest, this is not your hotel, at about 7 am the many little birds they have in cages in the courtyard start singing. It's impossible to sleep but after you get used to it, the cleaners start to do everything, buckets, furniture dragged on the floor, laughter, etc. There is no soundproofing in the rooms at all. After we complained they left us some earplugs that something fixed the thing.. The quality-price ratio is very bad, it's been a very expensive hotel for what they offer. I wouldn't stay here again if the price was half as low. Ah! And the wifi sucks, slow when you have it.

Our stay was enjoyable, especially due to the enormous and comfortable room with soft linens. The central location made exploring Oaxaca easy, with the Zócalo just a short stroll away. We loved the warm welcome with a delicious Mezcal cocktail upon arrival and the consistently good food in the restaurant.

+ Colourful traditional design, beautiful internal courtyards. Nice breakfast.
- Noisy ground floor, noise both because of the street proximity as well as the surrounding room tenants.

The staff was wonderful.
Our reservation stated that we would have a "room overlooking the courtyard". We were told upon arrival that we would have to move to another room after the first night. The other room was nice, though certainly not as nice as the original courtyard room.

Charming and Convenient Stay
The staff was warm and cute. The location allowed easy access to attractions while providing a peaceful escape from street noise. The lack of a window in one of our suites was a bit disappointing for the final night.

Location very good. Ask for room away from the street.
Restaurant was not up to par, even for a light dinner after a long day. Parking not available.
